SHIPPING

General Shipping Information

In stock items typically ship within 2 to 3 business days of order placement. Depending on your location, delivery can take from 3 to 10 business days. Multiple items ordered at the same time may not arrive together. Oversized orders may require more time. While we make every effort to maintain stock of all listed items, Occasionally strong demand may deplete our stock. If your item is out of stock or if an item will be shipped directly from the factory, we will notify you via email with an estimated shipping date. You will have the opportunity proceed or cancel your order at that time. We will not charge your credit card until the item is shipped. Note: delivery dates are subject to change.

Shipping and Handling

Most items ship via standard ground services. Shipping and handling charges for all items are based on the weight of the item, the size of the box and the delivery destination. Your shipping costs are predetermined and identified in the item description.

Some heavy and/or large items which can not be shipped via UPS Ground will be shipped by a residential freight delivery service. This delivery requirement will be noted in the item's description. Expect delivery in 2-3 weeks. Deliveries are made Monday - Friday, daytime hours only. A freight company representative will contact you by phone to arrange a delivery appointment. Extra charges may apply to remote areas and for complicated deliveries.

Express Delivery

Express delivery is available for an additional charge. You should contact us at 813.866.8686 or via email at orders@distinctionshome.com if you need express delivery. Please include your invoice number, item number, and contact information in all email messages. We will notify you of the additional costs before your order is shipped.

Return Shipping

Returns may affect final shipping and handling charges. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable unless merchandise is damaged or defective.

ORDER CHANGES OR CANCELATION

Orders can be changed or canceled prior to shipment with a full refund. After shipment, orders can not be canceled but may be returned upon receipt. Please call DISTINCTIONS customer service at 813.866.8686 to determine your order status. If you choose to cancel your order, please have your order number ready. DISTINCTIONS customer service hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm (Central Time). Remember, items typically ship within 2-3 buisness days from order placement.

RETURNS

We stand behind the products we sell. If for any reason you are not satisfied with a purchase you may return a product within 21 days of receiving it for a refund of the merchandise price only; shipping and handling charges will not be refunded. No returns can be made after 21 days. Please inspect all products upon receipt. To return a purchase, please follow the directions below.

To ensure that your return is processed accurately and promptly, please contact us at 813.866.8686, or e-mail us at returns@distinctionshome.com . Please include your invoice number, item number, and contact information in all email messages. DISTINCTIONS customer service hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm (Central Time).

A customer service associate will email you a Return Authorization form for you to include with your boxed order.

Complete all appropriate items on the returns form. Items must be then repack ed i n t in its original box and packing materials . with your order and a A ffix the address sticker to the outside of the box covering any existing shipping label . Send your return via UPS Ground service or FedEx ground and make note of your tracking number. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Use the Return Authorization Number you receive from us to complete the “Returns” sheet shipped with your order. Please include the returns sheet (and, if possible, a copy of your e-mailed invoice) in your return box. Once the product is received at our warehouse in good condition we will issue a refund for the amount of the product to the same credit card used for the purchase, less original shipping charges.

Call us for freight returns. A $99 pick-up fee for freight returns will be deducted from your return once the credit is processed. Freight returns must be packed in original containers with protective packaging materials.

*Please note that returns made without a Return Authorization Number will not be accepted. All sales on clearance items are final.

REPLACEMENT POLICY

We take pride in the quality and the packaging of our products. However, in the event that harm occurs in transit, or if you discover defects in the manufacture of a product, please contact us at 813.866.8686 or e-mail to returns@distinctionshome.com within 21 days for a replacement item. A customer service associate will provide you a Return Authorization Number. Once you have the Return Authorization Number please carefully pack your item using its original packaging materials placing the complete d return form on the outside of the package c ov ering any existing shipping label. , The returned item must be received at our warehouse within 21 days w e must receive your damaged product back at our warehouse within 21 days of our granting the return authourization or you will be charged for the replacement product. All merchandise will be inspected upon return.

You may return an online purchase to any DISTINCTIONS store. A Return Authorization Number is not required for store returns. When you go to the store for a return please bring with you the following items:

  1. A print out of your order confirmation
  2. The credit card used for the original purchase
  3. The item to return, in its original packaging
  4. A completed copy of the “Returns” sheet that was shipped with your order.

In order for a credit to be placed on your credit card account, the return must be made within 21 days of receipt of the product. All credit will be placed on the card used for the original purchase. Please allow up to 2 billing cycles for the credit to appear on your statement.

PAYMENT POLICIES

DISTINCTIONS accepts the following credit cards for online purchases:

  • American Express
  • VISA
  • Master Card
  • Discover

Your credit card will be authorized at the time you place your order. Your account will not be charged until the order ships. If the amount charged exceeds your credit limit, your order will be automatically cancelled. In this case, you will be notified by a Customer Service representative.

Debit Cards: Payment is deducted from your account at the time your card is approved. A receipt is include with each order.

Gift Certificates

If you have a DISTINCTIONS Gift Card and would like to apply it to an order, please contact our customer service center.
